03I'm desperate for help – Who can I turn to?
Posted By: Bill Young on September 3, 2010 at 10:54 pmI am married to a foreign guy who I spent a kings ransom in bringing him over here to UK and I’m deep in debt. We share a flat which is way too expensive and I cant get out of the contract with the landlord until December. My husband has cheated on me many times and our relationship is at an end. I told him to leave today and we had a huge bust up. I’m scared of him cos he can be violent and has often broken stuff in my flat but so far not hit me. He is very angry at me today for telling him to go, even though he has contributed almost nothing financially. I’m scared to go home tonight but have no friends or family to turn to. This is just the tip of the iceberg as we have many many other problems, too many to write here. I’m utterly depressed and my life is destroyed, my heart broken and my soul wrecked. What can I do?

03Financial help for Christian Missionaries in college?
Posted By: Bill Young on September 3, 2010 at 5:37 pmI am attending Liberty University for a major in ICST (Inter-cultural studies). I am wanting to be a missionary to Israel! I am training to become multi-lingual in hebrew, english, and arabic. But the only thing that is holding me back it paying for school. After I graduate from college I want to join the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. The IMB would pay for my mission work in Israel so I would not need funding for that. I do not have a dad (come from a broken home and I was mentally and physically abused by him) so it is only my mom supporting my family and I (I have 5 siblings). So she can not financially help me with school so I have to pull out loans. I will be about ,000 in debt by graduation because of it and it will take me over 10 years to pay it off..I will pretty much never get to the mission field. Please, if you know of anyone who can help me or how I can become debt free, please help!!! Here am I. SEND ME!!!
To comment on Emma, I plan to live in Israel and give up my American citizenship. I plan on helping the Messianic community and build and support orphanages for children misplaced to due wars. So I will not leave but grow the kingdom of Adonai!

03What is the next step once I have signed my student loan promissory note?
Posted By: Bill Young on September 3, 2010 at 4:04 pmThis is my first year attending graduate school and I have just signed a student loan promissory note. What comes next? Do I choose a lender now? I also had student loans for my BA (undergraduate) that I am paying off. Do I still choose a new lender or is the lender for my undergraduate loans automatically chosen as my graduate school student loans lender?

03Does the new student loan legislation only allow banks to charge you 10% of your annual income?
Posted By: Bill Young on September 3, 2010 at 11:07 amI’ve heard that the new student loan legislation passed along with the health care bill will only allow banks to charge you 10% of your annual income over the course of the year. I’m pretty sure that includes people already with student loans. Does anyone know anything more about this?

03My girlfriend and i really want to get a mortgage but our credit rating is bad. any ideas who can help us???
Posted By: Bill Young on September 3, 2010 at 10:08 amWe live in the uk. We live with our parents, we have about 2000 saved up for a deposit which isnt very much. We earn about 32000 together. we have debts too. and we would like to add these to a mortgage if its a good idea. we have heard that some lenders give five times your salary which means they should lend us about 160000. We have a debt of about 20000 between us and we are hoping we can put this onto your mortgage? is this possible? if this is possible we have seen property for about 130000-140000? can anyone suggest any lenders that could help us. Also does anyone know if its a good idea to buy a property from a auction? again i have a bad credit history, we are both in full time employment.

I live in england, Due to a car crash and many months off work I amounted quite alot of debt, I set up my own business at the start of the year but like alot of other businesses at the moment It didnt work out for me. Im now not working and really struggling to get a job. Because of that Im struggling to pay my debts.
Was thinking of getting out of the uk, I owe about £10,000, If I did what would happen to my debts? would I be chased by the companies? Would I be able to come back to england? or would I be coming back to 4 times as much debt as im in now?
I would be grateful for any help that anyone can give me.
Many thanks.
Martin

03why has the price of naturalisation increased so dramatically in a space of 2 months?
Posted By: Bill Young on September 3, 2010 at 1:49 ambefore April it was 250 quids now it is 655quids. what is up with that? the home office is soo busy letting terrorists roam free in Britain and welcoming them with chocolates, free housing, benefits and just generally keeping them sweet and happy. i am just a bit annoyed that the price went up, not just up by 50quid but more than double. unlike some people, i work full time, i pay my taxes and sometimes they tax me using the stupid emergency tax code. i pay council tax, i pay full rent. i don’t get any (and i don’t want any help from the state) help/ I live alone and i have just graduated from uni with loads of student loan debt and overdraft. where do they think i would get that type of money from. its such a shame knowing that citizenship can be purchased. i have been in this country since i was 9. i am 24, England is my home. then again, look at mohammed alfayed, he owns harrods and contributes in tax and economy for the UK but still no citizenship. look forward to your answers. 03Can I deduct student loan interest if I wasn't in school last year?
Posted By: Bill Young on September 3, 2010 at 12:41 amI graduated in January 2008. Can I deduct student loan interest incurred in 2009? It says, "You can deduct student loan interest if you were in a degree program and carried at least a half-time coarse load".
Yes, I meant interest paid, not incurred. I knew the answer to this. It’s just getting late and I can’t think straight! Thanks for confirming.
